The Library can offer support in creating diverse reading lists, which is an important step towards offering a more inclusive learning experience for our students. The purpose of this guide is to aid teaching staff in evaluating the resources included on reading lists and to facilitate the integration of more diverse and inclusive resources. “Diverse” in this context refers to a variety of resource types and formats, a broad spectrum of perspectives and approaches, and contributions by people from different backgrounds. We have created a list of 10 question prompts with follow-up suggestions to help you get started.
Please contact the Library if you would welcome further support on this topic or if you have any suggestions that could be useful additions to this guide.
