You're provided with library membership on the understanding that you're aware of, and accept, the associated rights and responsibilities, and that you will follow our rules and regulations.
- Your rights: we very much welcome your right to make suggestions about library services. You can also expect prompt replies to your enquiries (usually within one working day): Please refer to the full list of your rights.
- Your responsibilities: We're all responsible for helping to keep the library clean and inviting. Therefore, we don't permit eating in the Library beyond the turnstiles (you can eat in the refreshments space in the entrance), and you should only use thermos flasks or re-usable drinking cups with lids. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the library (including the outside Level 5 balcony). Please refer to the full lists of responsibilities and rules/regulations.
