Working with data: Six Top Tips

• Write a Data Management Plan 

• Store your research data on the University-managed servers (X: and H: drives)

• Organise your files into folders and sub-folders

• Use a file-naming convention and include the document version in the file name

• Document your data as you go along 

• At the end of your project register your datasets in Pure and upload your data to an appropriate research data archive.
