• It has been restricted by your Department

Covers international news including business, company and industry news. It gives full-text access to the international press, including major world newspapers and the trade/advertising press. IMPORTANT: Please note that business and news databases are licenced for education and research purposes only and cannot be used for University business.
News coverage includes the Financial Times from 1982 with a 30 day embargo. Note that the FT is not in the UK newspapers group search (filter) in the Power Search.
Reading lists

From the publishers of the print Barbour Compendium this is a fully searchable database of products and suppliers for the construction industries. It includes images, case studies, technical data, catalogues, news and project data.
Provides a free facility to search for business to business product and company information, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors.
Linkedin Learning provides access to a huge range of video tutorials on key software e.g. CAD, as well as personal and professional skills, business, marketing, web design, programming and more. Access for current students and staff from Engineering & Design and School of Management only.
E-books, articles, videos and case studies about research methods (quantitative, qualitative and mixed: including data analysis, interviews, focus groups, literature reviews and systematic reviews).
Library training sessions provided through the Doctoral Skills programme. These cover a range of topics from literature searching to research data management.
