Business Source Ultimate: Introduction

The first time you connect: after clicking one of the library's links to the database, accept the terms and conditions of the site. Finally, you may need to accept an option for "registering via your institution". 

Links to the database:

• Alternatively, search for "Business Source Ultimate" in the Library Catalogue. Then click the link provided in its catalogue record (in the 'view online' section).
   
• You can also visit one of the following 'Search the Literature' pages where you'll find a link to the database (amongst other resources):
  Management.
  Architecture and Civil Engineering.
  Chemical Engineering.
  Economics.
  Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
  Health.
  Social and Policy Sciences.

• Business Source Ultimate provides abstracts (summaries) of articles and other documents. Most of its search results also include links to the full text of the indexed article. To find these, click the Access Options button within the relevant search result.
  
   
• If a search result doesn't include a full text link, a 'more information' button appears instead. Click this to enter the Library Catalogue where you'll see, either a link to the document, or a statement explaining that the content is unavailable.
  
  If it's unavailable but you're signed in to the Library Catalogue, you'll see a 'request' link. Click the link, complete a short form, and we will then seek a scan of the content from another library. Usually, you'll receive the scan (via your university email account), either the same day, or within two working days. For further information: Inter-Library Loan service.
